Thermal baths are located in the center of Portugal, in the Lafões region, 3 km from the city that gives it its name. With over two thousand years of history, they are the largest thermal baths at national level and are among the largest and best ones in Europe.

There are two thermal buildings available - the classic Rainha D. Amelia and the large D. Afonso Henriques, both modernly equipped and situated on the banks of the Vouga River.

Apart from offering health and wellness treatments, those who visit Termas de São Pedro do Sul are surprised by the beauty of the surrounding landscape, the freshness of the fresh air and the carefully prepared cultural offer (hiking trails, workshops, cultural sessions, yoga, cinema and concerts).

 

The Rainha D. Amelia thermal building is a charming space, aimed to those who wish have a calm and relaxed time through a short thermal experience or moments of relaxation at the AQVA Institute - wellness program. There you can enjoy 1, 2 or 3 day programs, which include a thermal circuit, massages with thermal water or a face and body treatments with the AQVA range of cosmetics.

 

The D. Afonso Henriques thermal building it is situated closer to the Vouga river and it is installed in a large and modern space. It is directed for physical therapy and classic thermalism, which require a minimum stay of 14 to 21 days and an appointment with the doctor. The waters of the thermal baths of São Pedro do Sul are designed for those suffering from respiratory diseases and rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.

 

The thermal fontary is located along the Rainha D. Amelia thermal building, where the water springs at 68 Cº.
